WORSHIP
Whether it's at SPX or Online, we look forward to seeing you this weekend!
Mass at SPX
We hope that you'll join us at SPX for our two public Masses on Sunday at
9:30 am & 11:30 am. Reservations are required for our 9:30 am Mass. Save your seat HERE. No reservations required for the 11:30 am Mass.
If you have saved a seat for the 9:30 am Mass but aren't able to attend, please make a point to return your tickets - even on Sunday morning - so that others can attend. Seating at the door is not guaranteed.
Mass Online
You have the opportunity to worship online all weekend long!
Looking for ways to invite your friends to join you for Mass online? Check out this great ideas HERE.
Communion for
Online Worship
For those who continue to worship online, we are excited to offer the opportunity for you to come to SPX and receive the Eucharist from your car. Our Parking Team will be ready to assist you when you come to SPX from 10:45 - 11:00 am on Sunday.
SLAM
SLAM is taking a break this week, but check out this video by our friends at Church of the Nativity! Their version of SLAM is called Time Travelers and it's great to see what they have to say about St. Paul's letter the Philippians that we're hearing at Mass this weekend!
MESSAGE SERIES
You can find all the information on our series page HERE.
CURRENT MESSAGE SERIES
Are you anxious? You’re not alone. There are many things making us anxious right now - the pandemic, virtual learning, racial unrest, and this election. But it doesn’t have to be that way-- God doesn’t want us to live in a state of constant anxiety. Our next message series, Anxious for Nothing, will talk about what God has to say about anxiety and how to overcome it. Based on Philippians 4:4 - 8, together we'll discover how God wants more for us - how we truly can be Anxious for Nothing.
We believe that one of the ways that God supports us in overcoming our anxiety is through other people. So to face our anxiety as a church, we’ll be offering small groups where we can explore God’s plan for us to find peace.
There's still time for you to sign-up!

Because of the uncertainty of COVID, we have adapted small groups:
1. We are offering 6- and 12-week options this fall, since it is hard to commit to anything longer.
2. We will meet online - most groups use Zoom and we can help you figure Zoom out if needed.
3. Our meetings are 75 minutes.
4. 6-week groups will meet at 7 PM on Tuesday evenings. 12-week groups will meet at other days/times (see the signup for specifics).
5. We will follow our message series “Anxious for Nothing.” In our groups, we will watch a 20-minute video on the same topic presented by Max Lucado. Then we will discuss how we can apply these teachings to our REAL lives.
6. Our 12-week groups will then continue for another few weeks to support each other and grow together, discussing the weekly message.
PRESCHOOLERS OF SPX
Did you know that the Preschoolers of SPX have their very own weekly virtual class? Each week they can hear a message created just for them and do activities related to it at home! If you have a PreK 3-5 year old, sign up to receive the link in your inbox on Sundays!
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered on Thursday, October 15th from 7 - 7:45 pm. To read more about our Confession procedures, click HERE.
Be sure to check out our Election 2020 page for information about upcoming deadlines as well as surveys on the candidates.
GIVE
With the long-term economic and social impact of this situation, we encourage parishioners to please continue to financially give to make sure the parish can operate not just in the short-term, but for years to come. Our ability to provide ministries relies solely on the continued generosity of our parishioners. You can give in the following ways:
Businesses and churches are beginning to reopen, however St. Pius X Parish still depends on online donations to continue our ministry. We prayerfully invite you to sign up for eGiving from your computer, smartphone or tablet and set up a recurring donation or make a one-time gift. Sign up today by clicking HERE. Thank you for your continued support of our parish family.
