In February, before the pandemic even started, Matthew Kelly tweeted ‘We are living in a culture of outrage.  Someone is outraged about everything.  And there is no room for forgiveness, grace, or even the benefit of the doubt in culture of outrage.’  And if that was true then, surely it’s true now.  As the pandemic has stretched out over this year, incidents and systems of racial injustice continue to draw our attention,  and we get closer to the election in November, there can be no doubt that ‘outrage’ is a word that aptly describes 2020.  And it is at these crossroads that we find ourselves as we enter into the fall here at SPX.  So in this series, we’ll be diving deep into how as people of faith, we’re called to see the world differently - and act accordingly.  Our faith means that we’ll never be truly at home in this world, or any political party for that matter.  No, the Gospel demands that we have room for forgiveness, extend the benefit of the doubt, and generously offer grace to each and every person.  We’re called to choose unity over division, compassion over accusation, and hopefulness over hate.  Because with God as our leader, United We Stand.

KidMin serves the needs of all students in grades K - 5 regardless of where they go to school.  This year KidMin will begin the year meeting virtually. Weekly meetings will include a large group talk / discussion and breaking into small groups.  Resources will also be mailed to parents weekly.  KidMin will meet Sundays at 10:45 am starting on August 30th.  Registration is required that includes a $40 participation fee and a waiver from the ADW.

Daily Mass resumes starting September 9th on Wednesdays & Thursdays at 9 am.

No sign-up is needed, our capacity is 125 people.  Masks are required.  We look forward to worshipping with you during the week.

We are excited to resume offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation.   Confessions will be heard, starting on September 9th, on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:00 am each week.  

We'll also offer Reconciliation one evening a month from 7 - 7:45 pm.  Our first evening opportunity will be on September 17th.
